Our goal is to bridge the gaps that the trans+ and gender nonconforming community often encounter, working tirelessly towards a brighter future for this community. Not A Phase was established in 2020 by Danielle St James, in response to the significant challenges faced by trans+ individuals in the UK. Recognizing the absence of a charity focusing exclusively on the support of trans+ and gender diverse adults, the idea for Not A Phase was conceived.

As a trans-led, grassroots charity, Not A Phase is committed to enhancing and improving the lives of trans+ adults. We do this through awareness campaigns, social projects, and funding initiatives led by trans+ individuals. Our aim is to provide a thriving space for the trans+ and gender non-conforming community, while collaborating with organisations on Diversity & Inclusion strategies to foster positive change.
