Anna-Louise Felstead
Anna-Louise, an esteemed reportage artist, began her career by painting on location, using ink on paper to capture the essence of her surroundings. These initial studies later served as the foundation for her larger oil paintings. For a period, she owned an art gallery where she exclusively exhibited her work, capturing the charm of village life, local architecture, and bay scenes.
Her artistic journey took a turn when she started creating abstract cityscapes in oils and making screen prints of Manhattan at The Art Student's League of New York. Her diverse interests led her to accept a commission where she painted aircraft carriers, harrier jump jets, and helicopters. These images were later used in sponsored exhibitions and as part of a recruitment campaign.
Anna-Louise's passion for mechanical objects led her to the world of race car painting. Her work in this field has been internationally recognised and featured in numerous motoring magazines. She has attended prestigious race and concours events worldwide, including Pebble Beach, Monaco Grand Prix Historique, Amelia Island, Villa d'Este, and Le Mans. Her car paintings were first exhibited at the Le Mans Museum, followed by a solo show at the Royal Automobile Club and her first official exhibition stand at Salon Privé. Anna-Louise continues to paint abstract cityscapes and historic cars from her studio.
